This morning we welcomed passengers on board the luxury cruise ship Nautica to our Holyhead jetty. 2017 has been a busy year for Orthios in what has been a record year for the number of cruise ships sailing into Holyhead.

The increased number of boats which berthed at our Holyhead site includes the luxury sister vessels Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 4 (which carry nearly 3,000 passengers), the Sirena, Seabourn Quest, Astoria and Silver Wind.

2018 looks to be another record year with confirmed bookings of cruise ships due to berth next year showing a 60% increase on 2017 vessel numbers. We are delighted to have taken part in the partnership between the Isle of Anglesey County Council, Welsh Government, Stena Line and other regional partners to attract more cruise liners to the region.

As the 2017 cruise season comes to end we look forward to welcoming commercial vessels to our jetty.
