Our jetty at Holyhead Port is a 24 hour, deep water, lock-free facility, located on the Irish Sea coast, and within easy reach of several major cities in the UK and Ireland (Latitude: 53° 19’N Longitude 004° 37’W).
Open to commercial traffic, the jetty is a concrete deck on steel raking piles, which is managed on behalf of Orthios by Holyhead Shipping and Logistics Ltd.
Vessels of up to 300 metres can be accommodated. The depth of the approach channel to the jetty is 10.5m above chart datum and the minimum depth alongside the jetty is 12.5m. The height of the jetty deck above low water is 8.7m.
Orthios Jetty Charges are levied separately by the port authority, Orthios, and Holyhead Shipping & Logistics Ltd.
- Harbour Dues, Cargo Dues, and Pilotage Dues levied by the Port
- Berth dues levied and chargeable direct from Orthios
- Ancillary services, including boatmen, gangway, equipment, skips and labour to be charged by Holyhead Shipping and Logistics Ltd.
